2012 Outdoor Registration Information

The 2011 MSL Cup Champions, Refugees, will be hosting the 2011 BAS Cup Champions, PTH FC, in ‘The Prestige’; the first of hopefully many annual match-ups that pits the Brampton recreational champions against the Milton recreational champions.

The inaugural match-up is being hosted by MSL and will take place at Bishop Reding Secondary School in Milton, Ontario.  Kick off is at 2:30pm this Sunday, October 30th, 2011.

We invite all members of both the Milton Soccer League and Brampton Adult Soccer to attend the free event and cheer on their respective league.  

It is our hope that in the near future “The Prestige” will become a competition that hosts additional recreational leagues within Halton & Peel Region – we’ll keep everyone posted on the progress as it unfolds.  Stay tuned.

The Milton Soccer League (MSL) and Brampton Adult Soccer (BAS) are proud to announce the first ever Inter-League Championship to be played between the respective Men’s Cup Champions.

The game will be played on Sunday October 3oth at Bishop Reding in Milton with kick-off scheduled for 2:30pm.  We hope to make this an annual event with the addition of furthur clubs in the years to come.

Here is a summary of the MSL Cup and how the respective champions will be decided:

The MSL Cup is played after the regular season has been completed. All teams qualify for the Cup and match-ups will be based on the final league standings in the womens league and based on a random draw in the mens league.  The Cup is based on a single elimination format until there is one team remaining that will be crowned MSL Cup Champions.  Games will be played as usual with 2 (45) minute halves. Should this game be tied at the end of the 90 minutes, one (1) ten (10) minute period of overtime will be played. (The Golden Goal rule will apply).  If still tied, five (5) penalty kicks by five (5) players from each team will be taken.  If still tied alternate penalty kicks, by balance of team will be taken until a winner has been determined.

Saturday July 9 – 6:00pm at Lion’s # 2 - Hardly Athletic v. Off All Day

I’m pleased to announce that for the first time ever, there will be an inter-league championship at the conclusion of the 2011 Outdoor Season. Although many details still need to be worked out, I’m honoured that the Brampton Adult Soccer (BAS) will be co-hosting this event with the Milton Soccer League.  This would pit the respective Men’s CUP Champions from both organizations.
